Hello. My name is Michael and I will be offering group tutoring sessions for the Transfer Test in 2025. I have been tutoring for 12 years and I teach in the Primary 6/ 7 loop so I feel I am very au fait with the process.

Classes will begin in January 2025. For the first few months we will be covering curriculum content in both Literacy and Numeracy. Then around Easter time we will move onto practice papers. My main role will be to help the children with their confidence and test technique.

Last year saw the biggest change to the Transfer Test process since 2008. Having been through this new process with both my own class and tutor groups I feel very confident in preparing children for this new format of testing. The need for support is more important now than every before. If you have a look at my Facebook or Instagram page 'Michael White Tutoring' you will see parent reviews from various different cohorts.

I am very aware that some children are still not at the level you would normally expect as a result of the lockdowns. This has been evident since schools returned. Therefore extra tuition will be more crucial than ever this year.

When you sign up to tutoring you will be added to a WhatsApp parent support group where you will have access to a library of vidoes I have created on different areas of the test. There will also be online revision support materials available. This has proved a very useful resource for the children.
