Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Basingstoke

Job Type: Temporary (Long term)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Rotating Split Shift (6.00am - 2.00pm / 2.00pm - 10.00pm)

Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

Salary: £14.23 per hour

We have a new role available within Thermofisher Basingstoke, working as a production operative you will be responsible for various tasks in the manufacturing process. This is a temporary position with the potential for a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

Mixing and weighing product: You will be involved in the process of mixing and accurately weighing product ingredients according to set guidelines.

Filling and packaging: As a Production Operative, you will fill the mixed product into containers, seal them with lids, and pack them into boxes for shipment or storage.

Heavy lifting: The role will involve lifting bags of product weighing up to 25 kg, so physical strength and ability are necessary.

Attention to detail: Ensuring precision and accuracy during the production process is crucial to maintain product quality.

Teamwork: The ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
