We have a new role available within Thermofisher Basingstoke, working as a production operative you will be responsible for various tasks in the manufacturing process. This is a temporary position with the potential for a permanent role. Benefits include: All breaks and Lunch are paid for, free parking on site for all employees, canteen on site for you to access for your breaks, weekly pay every Friday and no weekends! Responsibilities: Mixing and weighing product: You will be involved in the process of mixing and accurately weighing product ingredients according to set guidelines. Filling and packaging: As a Production Operative, you will fill the mixed product into containers, seal them with lids, and pack them into boxes for shipment or storage. Heavy lifting: The role will involve lifting bags of product weighing up to 25 kg, so physical strength and ability are necessary. Attention to detail: Ensuring precision and accuracy during the production process is crucial to maintain product quality. Teamwork: The ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
