Bennett and Game has the pleasure of working with a top 100 Accountancy Practice located in Ellesmere Port, who are now seeking a Payroll Administrator to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. The firm are offering a competitive starting salary along with an excellent benefits scheme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join a growing, forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll for a portfolio of OMB clients dealing with client queries and ensuring timely RTI of the payroll processing.

Payroll Administrator Job Overview

Handling a portfolio of clients your main responsibilities will be:

Preparing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a diverse set of clients whilst also taking on pension auto enrolment responsibilities

Reviewing the payrolls before issuing to clients

Offering advice to clients over varying queries

Liaising with managers and other departments to provide the best service for the client

Developing new and maintaining other client relationships

Payroll Administrator Job Requirements

Experience on Sage payroll would be advantageous

Experience within a similar role is essential

Both Accountancy practice and commercial candidates are encouraged to apply

A team player who can also work autonomously

Payroll Administrator Salary & Benefits

Salary dependent on experience, with the typical industry range for this position being £25- £32K
