Hours per week: Mainly after school 3:15pm to 6:15pm 3 hours a day Hourly pay rate: £14 an hour
I am currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support my wonderful 13-year-old son, who has autism and ADHD. He is nonverbal, although he can say a few words, and communicates effectively in his own unique way.
He absolutely thrives on engaging activities and outings. One of his absolute favourite pastimes is swimming, and he also has a special love for Paulton's Park, where he enjoys spending time exploring and having fun. He is a very happy and joyful child, and the right P.A. will need to match his energy and share in his excitement for these activities. I am looking for a P.A. who can assist after school from 3:15 pm to 6:15 pm, offering consistent care for three hours a week. In addition to this regular schedule, there will be opportunities for additional hours during school half-terms and the summer holidays to help make these times as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible for him.
Flexibility is key, so I would love to hear about your availability throughout the week, as we can adjust the schedule to find a routine that works best for everyone involved. Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Other relevant duties as required
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:

Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Someone who is reliable, kind, caring and patient.
Know of autism/worked with children.
Additional requirements
Non-smoker due to medical reasons, Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
