My client within energy trading are looking for a Lead engineer to join the team.

The project will be working on real time commodity trading systems to ensure maximum up time for trading systems across markets.

This is a Lead engineer role which will involve 70 percent hands on C++ dev work and 30 percent Tech lead work. You will be involved in architectural planning and project discussions.

The role will be working within different commodity trading projects .

Requirements:

Hands on C++ development experience.

Quant /Etrading / Market Making.

Real time trading systems development.

Commodities is a nice to have

Interaction with Traders

This is a initial 6 Month contract paying up to 1000p/d via umbrella with high chance of extension.

This role is hybrid and requires 2-3 days a week in the London office.
