Job Title: Laundry Porter (Hospital Setting)

Location: Essex

Salary: circa 12/hr

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Laundry Porter to join our team in a hospital setting. This role is vital in ensuring clean and hygienic laundry services across the hospital, supporting a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, sort, and distribute clean laundry and linen to various departments.

Safely handle soiled laundry following health and safety guidelines.

Operate laundry machinery as needed, ensuring safe and effective use.

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laundry facilities.

Report any maintenance issues or shortages to the supervisor.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential).

Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.

Physical ability to handle and transport laundry across departments.

Must be reliable and able to start immediately.
