Urgently seeking FLT Drivers with BITA B2 certificate which allows you to drive a forklift truck up to 16 tonnes.

Job Summary

To transport large machinery from and to containers.

Hourly rate:

£13.00ph - £16.00ph

Hours of work:

08.30 - 16.30

Key

Transport large machinery from containers to the factory floor

Remove all packaging from machine to ensure it is ready for the next stage in production

Transport finished product to designated areas within the factory and store safety until needed for the next stage of production

Ensure all transportation of product is actioned in a safe manner following Company Health and Safety guidelines.

Ensure the safe loading and off-loading of vehicles collecting and delivering to and from the production department

Essential

2+ years’ previous experience driving a forklift within a manufacturing environment.

Experience using a forklift truck to move heavy, large and awkwardly shaped components.

Forklift license counterbalance B2

Experience having the ability to work under your own initiative

Work as a team player to achieve customer quality, delivery and cost requirements.

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations when operating a forklift

Must be available to start on 04 Novemer 2024.
