Agency Childrens Learning Disabilities Support Worker

Pay rate: From GBP12.89 an hour, weekly pay

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people? We d like you to join us at Jane Lewis as a Support Worker working with children with complex needs in Stockton-on-Tees!

We are offering an exciting opportunity working within a specialist service to provide care for children up to age 18 and offer intensive levels of support in a carefully considered environment. Please note that for this role we can only accept applicants with previous experience working with Children, due to the clinical needs of the service users.

As a Children s Support Worker, you must:

Be over the age of 18 to applyHave the right to work in the UK. tBe a UK resident, We are unable to provide sponsorshipHave 1 year s prior experience working with children in a proffessional setting within the UKHave experience with challenging behaviour and learning disabilitiesHave a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector and empathy towards others

All applicants will be required to complete PEG training, Suppository traing and Team Teach

The duties of a Children s Support Worker include assisting young people in developing life and social skills, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children in your care, and encouraging friendships and peer support amongst the children.
