This is a top class German baby grand piano with incredibly good tone and a rich sonorous bass - quite rare in a relatively small grand piano. With a finely crafted Renner action (as in Steinway and many other prestige pianos) this would suit even the most demanding pianists. Purchased new in 1987 by a very talented musician, it has been cherished and very well looked after indeed since then. A German made grand piano of this calibre and size would be in the region of £35,000 new so this is a fantastic opportunity to get a serious piano at a great price.



Tone and tuning

Exceptional sounding piano, with an array of different tones to explore, and an excellent dynamic range. The amazing sound of this piano has to be heard in person to be fully appreciated but video demos are available. This piano has been well maintained and regularly tuned (concert pitch / A=440hz).


Keyboard and action

The full size 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the Renner action, which is incredibly expressive, has been regulated so plays perfectly smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight action. This would suit any level of player up to professional.


Hammers and strings

Hammers and strings are both in very good condition. This piano has not been heavily used but was played regularly up until a couple of years ago.


Sound board

Excellent condition, as new, no cracks or splits.


Case

Stylish dark rosewood wood case with a satin finish. In very good condition throughout - a few small marks consitent with the piano’s age and use but nothing very noticeable and it is a stunning looking piano which would suit a modern or classic decor. Matching adjustable stool included.
