I have over 15 years of experience in teaching piano to children (6+) and adults at all levels. I teach privately and in schools.

The content of my lessons can include music theory, sight reading and aural skills in preparation for exams (GCSE and ABRSM Grades 1- 8) or simply for fun, knowledge, and creativity. I can cover a variety of genres including classical, pop, traditional, folk, either working from sheet music or playing by ear. I can share some materials for exercises and practice.

I cater to the specific needs of my students and good communication is important to enable me to teach you as effectively as possible. I can be flexible in my approach as some students have different goals and others are receptive to different ways of learning. I strive to expand my students' interests by making lessons varied and interesting.
