Dr MacLeod practicing chemistry and physics teacher, with experience of teaching Nat 5 to Advanced higher Chemistry and Physics. I also collaborate with a degree qualified experienced maths teacher, teaching Nat 5 and Higher Maths. I can therefore offer maths tutoring. With this collaboration I can also provide a science/maths homeschooling package.

Education and teaching experience:

I studied at Glasgow University and obtained my Ph.D from Strathclyde University. I have taught in secondary schools, FE colleges and at University. As an experienced teacher I offer a professional service and help my students get the results that they need. I have over 15 years experience in the classroom/lecturing and starting from January this year I now work full time as an online tutor. Tutoring is an ideal way to help students progress and reach thier potential and a good tutor can make the difference. As a professional tutor with vast experience in education I can help my students get the grades that they require.

Tuitions:

I'm offering ONLINE TUITION ONLY for £30 per hour, using scribblar or Teams/zoom and an online interactive white board. My rates are exceptionally low considering my qualifications, I can keep my rates low as I don't deal with agencies. I am also offering classes with a max of 5 people for £40 per hour. As well as my tutoring support for students studying at school I offer homeschool courses with the possibility of sitting exams at a centre in Edinburgh ( gcse science/maths and A-level courses).My you tube video channel has the aim of providing educational videos for physics and chemistry students, please feel free to watch these videos.

I have membership of the tutors association the UKs professional body for tutors working towards better standards and safety in the tutoring profession.
