My name is Amelia/Miss Perry and I am a teacher and the Head of Biology at a secondary school in North Somerset. I have been teaching for five years and pride myself on being a passionate and patient educator. I was trained at the University of Bath Spa and also have a 1st Biological Sciences BSc degree from the University of Birmingham.

I offer one to one online GCSE science or A-Level biology tutoring. I can tailor sessions for any ability (Foundation or Higher) and exam board but have the most experience with AQA for GCSE - both Combined and Triple - and OCR A for A-level biology.

I can tailor tutoring sessions to where my tutees need the most support; whether it's re-teaching tricky aspects of the curriculum, mastering exam technique (I can provide a large bank of past paper questions) or supporting with the most effective ways to revise in the run-up to assessments... Ultimately, my aim is to help my tutees achieve their full potential and feel more confident in the subject.

I can be flexible with the length of sessions (though typically an hour at a time works best) and have availability for most Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons/evenings. I can also accommodate at weekends. Please contact me to check availability for a time that would suit you.

I charge £35 per hour for GCSE and £40 for A-Level with payment by bank transfer at the start of each session.
