My name is Richard and I’m a one-to-one English teacher in the historic city of Cambridge, England. I am a native English speaker who teaches international adults between low-intermediate (B1) and proficient (C2). I have been working as a teacher for 9 years and have worked with hundreds of students from more than 30 countries.

My teaching style is informal and friendly. Individual needs are my focus. If you need speaking practice, grammar guidance, assistance preparing for a job interview or presentation, or are preparing for the C2, C1, B2, B1, IELTS, and GCSE English exams, I can help.

If you are in Cambridge, we can meet face-to-face or online via Google Meet or WhatsApp. If you are somewhere else, we can meet online.

Face-to-face meeting: £17 per hour, £24 per 1 hour 30
Online via Google Meet or WhatsApp: £16 per hour, £22 per 1 hour 30
Last minute online meeting: £17 per hour, £24 per 1 hour 30

Wherever you are, the first meeting is free.

In addition to my teaching, I also provide proofreading at £16 per hour. I have worked on dissertations, theses, essays, and PowerPoint presentations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
