I have been teaching for about 30 years. I teach mainly LCME but can teach other boards if requested. I teach piano and Theory, but can teach any instrument. Whether you want to learn for fun or exams I have a syllabus to suit. I have taught up to grade 8 and my students have gained Distinctions and high Merits in their exams. I also teach older students who want to learn for fun. It doesn't matter what age you are, learning a musical instrument keeps the brain active and helps prevent forgetfulness and dementia in older people. All you need is an instrument to practice on and there are some great digital pianos that don't take up as much space as the original upright and grand pianos. I am based in North Belfast, off the Antrim Road, near Belfast Castle. |
