Hello there, my name is Nev and I am a qualified mathematics teacher / home-schooling teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience; and more than 15 years of experience in preparing students for secondary school entrance exams (independent schools and grammar schools). I have coached several students for their independent school entry tests and 11 plus examinations in the Midlands and South East, and they have accepted places at the following institutions:

My teaching style:
I have worked in primary, secondary and SEN schools in Midlands and South East; I have also been the head of a mathematics department and I have also taught pupils who were being home educated (home-schooled). I work closely with individual students in order to raise their level of attainment (children and adult learners). There is not a 'one size fits all' approach to teaching and learning, so I make sure that all of my student’s have their private tuition sessions tailored to their individual needs. Over the last decade, I have collated several, good teaching resources to help me to deliver the best level of service to my students – regardless of where they are in their learning journey.

My rate is £35 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours per lesson. I charge my fees a monthly.
My DBS is available on request for safety and security.
