I am a qualified Maths Teacher and I offer face-to-face and online lessons. I am able to help students with their SATs, entrance exams and GCSEs.
I have secondary school experience, including Academies and schools rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. I have tutored students to help them prepare for their GCSEs successfully. My students improve their predicted GCSE results by at least one grade. Furthermore, some of my students have moved from middle to higher sets within a year of lessons. I have experience in teaching students of all levels, including SEN (Special Educational Needs) students.
I have completed my PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Mathematics)) at the University of Greenwich where I was awarded for my excellent performance in the course. I am also currently enrolled in a BSc in Physics at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens.
I am well familiar with the style of GCSE questions of all the boards which enables me to equip students with the required knowledge. I often use past papers and create exam conditions in lessons to prepare students for their GCSE exams.
I create good relationships with my students in order to provide a safe environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and attempt challenging tasks. I transfer my enthusiasm about Maths to the students by making the lessons enjoyable.
I am enhanced DBS checked and I will provide my certificate on the first lesson.
