I am Sofia, an Italian native teacher with a Master’s Degree in Italian Language and Literature and a Postgraduate degree in Translations Studies.

I help English speaking adults build and grow their fluency in Italian so they can communicate with confidence in their personal, professional and private life even if they have never learned a second language.

I know, becoming fluent in Italian is a struggle for most people because they don’t have a complete, step-by-step system that teaches all the essential principles and techniques that are proven to work. And even if someone did, without someone who is dedicated to supporting you in your journey, it would be difficult to stay motivated and on track.

You will not only get this proven system but also a personal Italian teacher who is there with you every step of the way from day 1 to make sure you reach your goals. Here’s how we do it thanks to my personal method that is based on:

ASSESSING: Assessing your level and understanding your goals and needs is an important part of my teaching process.

-During our free trial session, your current level of Italian proficiency will be assessed and areas where you may need additional support will be identified;

-You will talk about your goals and needs so that a teaching approach can be
tailored to best meet your individual learning style and preferences.

ACCOUNTABILITY: During my experience as a teacher, I have seen firsthand how important accountability is in achieving success.

-You will receive regular feedback and support in order to stay motivated and focused;

-You will be encouraged to take an active role in your learning and you will receive all the tools and resources you need to succeed.

REPETITION: Repetition is a key factor in language learning because it allows the brain to internalize and retain the information.

-You will spend enough time on one topic or skill and that will allow you to master it and use it with confidence;

- You will build a strong foundation in Italian in order to be well equipped when communicating in real-life situations;

-You will internalize the language and make it a part of your everyday life.


NOTE: The lessons are only held online via Skype, Zoom or Google Hangsout

A single 60-minute lesson costs £30, or £25 per lesson when bought as part of a package.
