We have facilities for hire at St Andrew's Church of Scotland, Sandyford, Newcastle upon Tyne. Find us next to Benton House.

Large hall; a large and spacious room.
Meeting room; provides a smaller, private space.
Fully-equipped kitchen; can cope with the demands of small or large events.


Our rooms are suitable for a variety of uses including birthday parties and celebrations, interest and community groups, seminars or conferences, lessons or tutorials.

Tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery are available for use. We are WIFI enabled and have AV equipment.

The venue sits on a major bus route close to Newcastle city centre, and is within walking distance of Jesmond Metro Station. There is some parking in the residential streets surrounding the church.

Our rates are competitive and income is used to maintain the fabric of the building and support our work within the community.

Facilities are available for single events or regular bookings. Terms and conditions apply.

Current Availability:
We have evening availability from the following times:
Mondays 4.30pm - 7pm
Wednesday 4.30pm - 7pm
Sundays 6.30pm - 9pm

We have daytime hire available, with the exception of Wednesday mornings.

We can offer a small amount of storage for regular hiring groups.
Refundable key deposits are required for key access to the building and use of a storage space.
