For music theory and SQA written exam tutoring only, the prices are as follows:

My name's Billy and I am a 23-year-old musician based in Glasgow. I recently graduated from the University of Glasgow and I am currently undertaking a music performance and teaching course at Riverside Music College.
I have been playing the guitar and bass since I was 16, and have an advanced understanding of music theory. I perform in a band as the lead guitarist, and I have performed and done session work as a bassist, playing on studio recordings.
I have helped compose and release songs as part of my band, utilising my knowledge of music theory and my passion for performance.
I am working as a tutor as I have a genuine passion for teaching my instruments, and having had several tutors myself, I understand how crucial it is to have direction in the learning process. I have gained experience in several different learning methods, and I understand that no two students are the same. I myself have found that what works for others doesn't always work for me, so I am eager to tailor my teaching to the individual's needs, and most importantly, ensure that their journey is as enjoyable and rewarding as possible!
My personal, ongoing journey with the guitar and bass, as well as the tutoring I have received, has given me a thorough insight into what is needed to provide suitable and tailored music lessons. I also have an A in Higher Music, and I have studied music theory at a higher level outside of education. I can therefore tutor all ages and abilities from someone who has never picked up a guitar, all the way to SQA level, and beyond.
In my career as a musician, I have performed at festivals such as Tenement Trail and have regularly played at venues including King Tut's, greatly improving my experience and general confidence as a live performer. Furthermore, I have performance and studio experience from session work I have completed as a bass guitarist.
