description	Hi! My name’s Amy and I’m an experienced Key Stage 3 and 4 Science Teacher and Private Tutor, offering services in the Brighton & Hove area. I have taught in a secondary school since September 2020. I am DBS checked, a qualified tutor, fully safeguarding trained, and passionate about science! In 2020, I graduated with a 2:1 Bsc in Biology, from the University of Sussex. From there, I started working as a science tutor in a comprehensive secondary school in Brighton, where I have been working for the past 4 years. In this time, I have taught all year groups, at all levels, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. This means I have a great understanding of the curriculum (especially the Edexcel exam board), and exam technique. I have specialised in supporting year 10 and 11 GCSE students, increasing their confidence and understanding. Some students I’ve worked with for a whole academic year have increased their grades from a 4 to a 9. I offer great value tutoring in the local area – especially in contrast to pricey online tutoring agencies!
