Hello,

I am a maths and physics tutor with 10 years of tutoring experience and PhD in theoretical physics. I've tutored numerous students of various ages in individual and group sessions. For GCSE and A-levels, I cover all main exam boards and use exam-board-specific textbooks and resources.

Lectures are attended online via Zoom. I use a graphical tablet for writing and professional audio equipment. After the lecture, students are provided with lecture notes in PDF format. My tutoring style adapts to the student and I focus on ensuring understanding, using analogies and real-world applications. I stick to the basics, often summarizing and highlighting key principles and ideas.
To enhance learning, I visualize the problems as much as possible by sketching using various shapes and colours and sharing videos after the class (especially for physics). I provide tips for approaching problems, what clues to look for and time management advices to make the exams as stress-free as possible.
Several months before end-of-year exams I shift the focus to exam-solving and maximizing the grade.

I offer 45 min and 60 min lecture options (+ 5 mins extra on average). The rate is £35 / 45 min and £45 / 60 min. For university students, it's £10 more.
