Looking for top-tier English tuition? I’m a fully-qualified teacher with over 19 years of experience, specialising in English Literature, Language (KS2 to A-level), and grammar school entrance exam coaching (11+ English and VR). I’ve taught hundreds of students, helping many improve their grades by two levels or more. I am based in Baxenden, Accrington, Lancashire, but offer tuition online globally.

I hold a BA in English Literature, an MA in Gothic Literature, a PGCE in English, and I’m a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching. As an experienced GCSE and A-level examiner for multiple exam boards, I have a unique insight into exam expectations, ensuring my students are fully prepared to achieve excellent results. I am fully DBS checked and on the update register and work with NTAS too, helping pupils with EHCPs.
