I have a degree in music production and performance and over 15 years teaching experience. Even if you have never played drums before, I am sure that by the end of the first lesson you will be able to play your first beat. My studio has two kits in it which means we don’t need to share and we can focus more on you playing and having fun! I have written my own curriculum tailored to the complete beginner. It’s a step-by-step guide to the drums and by the end of the course, you will have a more complete understanding of how to play the drums and how rhythm and music works. Lesson Topics Include: Playing Your Favourite Songs. Style Studies. Independence. Rhythm Theory. Sight Reading. Rudiments. Prices: £30 p/hr £15 for 30 minutes Block bookings available.
