Hi, I'm Matt & I'm a music producer and DJ with releases on Optimo Music, Osare Editions, Brownswood Recordings & Wolf Music. I've had music played on Radio 1, NTS Radio, Rinse and Redlight Radio. (https://g.co/kgs/rV8k15F)

I've hosted shows on NTS, Balamii and Noods radio and have been running tutoring workshops for 5 years now.

I regularly DJ in venues and on Radio across London, run a small independent record label and work on a freelance basis for Trunk Records.

Digital DJ Tuition:

Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus NXS2 / DJM 900 NXS2 MIXER - Industry standard setup.

Vinyl DJ TUITION: Technics 1210's / DJM 900 NXS2 MIXER

▪ How to mix, blend, scratch
▪ Beatmatch, cue, fade, cut, avoid key clashes
▪ Prepare DJ sets
▪ The craft
▪ Equipment

I'm open to anyone from beginners to more experienced individuals.
I will tailor sessions to individual needs and skills, my sessions are informal and relaxed and ideally fun!
For beginners, I find it best to jump in and get on with it, learn through doing and the more technical stuff can be learnt as you improve and get used to the techniques.
For advanced students, we’ll focus on sharpening up specific areas.

I'm also offering the studio for DJ practise and usage (recording mixes / DJ practise without tuition, (no groups however).


PRICES

Each session is a minimum of 2 hours long.

You can book individual sessions or blocks of sessions, although I would recommend blocks of sessions as it's better for momentum and incremental improvement.

10% discount on a block of 10 hours

I'm currently based near Kingston in SW London, so I can host sessions in my home studio there. Or I conduct lessons at Pirate Studios in Dalston/Earlsfield, students will need to book studio slots via their website.
