Hi I'm Michael,

I am currently a practicing teacher and Director of Curriculum in a secondary school in Farnborough. I have been teaching Computer Science and IT for over 13 years , which is made up of both Further (College) and Secondary education. This experience is made up of teaching vocational A levels such as BTECs, as well as GCSE Computer Science from the OCR, Edexcel, and Cambridge exam boards. I also teach vocational GCSE courses in IT, GCSE Business (OCR) and also KS3 (Year 7, 8 and 9) in IT and Computing. I have also been providing private tuition for the last 3 years.

I have Qualified Teaching Status which has been awarded by the DfE, as well as a 2:1 in BSc in Computing with Hons. In addition I have a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT and both my GCSE Maths and English.

I'm offering private tuition to anyone who needs extra support with their Computing or Business Studies and/or anyone looking to up skill in this area, including Python programming.

What's included in your tutoring:
**1 Hour tutoring session with a qualified FE and secondary school teacher with over 13 years of classroom experience
**The opportunity to have a private WhatsApp group(Between myself, A parent and the student) so that they can ask questions outside these sessions.
**Access to google classroom. An online platform where resources can be accessed, which are specific to your course.
**Access to a website to manage your bookings.
**The opportunity to have set homework, which is then marked and feedback to the student.


There are no contracts, late fees or early cancellation fees*. You can book me for as many little or many sessions as you feel that is required. Payment can be made via bank transfer during or after each session. Discounts are given for multiple sessions that are booked and paid for upfront.


All my sessions are carried out online via (Google Meet) , so that tutoring can be scheduled around a time that suits you from the comfort of your own home.


If your child would like some extra support then please do contact me. Prior to any tutoring I like to meet for an initial conversation to get an understanding of prior learning and how I an help going forward. You can then use this to decide if you feel tutoring is something you wish to pursue.
