I am looking for a studio to 2 bed home to rent for a minimum of six months, preferably longer.

I am looking for a quiet and secluded home with a bath, access to a garden and a woodburner or fireplace 30-60 minutes commute from central Edinburgh (see my funny little map!). My budget is £875 pcm and I can pay six months upfront if needed.

I would really prefer to rent directly from a home owner with whom I can have a lovely, trusting and fair relationship with. I am more than happy with a rustic property and have poured love and creativity into every home I’ve lived in, so a place that needs a bit of TLC would work just fine.

I am working as an admin assistant and workshop facilitator and am training to be a doula. My hobbies are wild swimming (yes, even in the winter), foraging, flower arranging, long walks, birdwatching, reading and I’ve recently fallen in love with qigong. I also practice and make herbal medicine, so a garden where herbs can be planted is a must! I am community minded, having volunteered at markets and community larders, and enjoy being a friendly and helpful neighbour.
