We have a double room available, which includes an additional box room (big enough for an office), storage and access to living room and conservatory for use.
The room is unfurnished, however we have a double ottoman bed available for use if required.
We have no problem if you want to add furniture such as a desk, tables etc and if you want a mounted TV I'm happy for you to organise one to be fitted.
Shared areas include;
- Kitchen - washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, air fryer, cupboard, fridge - Garden/Patio - Large summer house for storage - Parking directly outside the house (No restricted parking)
Bassingbourn is a lovely and peaceful village with the following amenities;
- Two pubs - Doctors and Pharmacy - Hairdressers - Coffee shop - Spar Convenience store
There is a bus service and it is possible to walk to Royston but I would recommend a bike/car is needed for added convenience. The surrounding areas are rural with some beautiful routes for walking or running.
- Large Tesco Supermarket - 5 minute drive - Costa, M&S and Aldi - 7 minute drive - Royston train station - 10 minute (15 mins to Cambridge and (40 minutes to London)
These are all roughly a 45 minute walk away from Bassingbourn.
We work mainly in Cambridge but work from home a couple of days a week (Monday and Friday) . I'm very relaxed and sociable but equally appreciate our own space! I'd be respectful to anyone living here as I'd want them to feel it's also their home.
NOTE: if you would prefer a Sun - Fri let (5 nights) We are open to this. The monthly price for this would be £800 inclusive of ALL bills.
