The property is also less than 5 minutes walk from Fazakerley railway station, where a train can take you into Liverpool city centre, or out to parts of Lancashire, via Kirkby.

There is a local Aldi and Lidl nearby or you can pick up bargains at the local B&M store (near Lidl).  There is also a local Tesco Express close by.  A short drive takes you to a large Home Bargains, and Food Warehouse (East Lancs. Road) or the retail park at Aintree which boasts Marks and Spencer, Next, The Range, TK Maxx, Homesense and Boots - to name a few.  There is also an Asda Superstore close by in Aintree.

The M57 motorway is a 5 minute drive away from the property, which connects to Lancashire via the M58 motorway, or Cheshire and Manchester via the M62 motorway.  The East Lancashire Road is also a short drive away which offers connections to the area of St Helens and beyond.

The Property

This extended property is ideal for hospital staff, or colleagues sharing.  To the first floor there are two double bedrooms and one single bedroom, with furniture included.  The fourth bedroom, is located on the ground floor, is a double sized bedroom, and again is furnished.

The property has a separate toilet and shower room - both are on the first floor.  The bathroom and toilet were installed a couple of years ago, but have had minimal use.

The kitchen has just been renovated, and includes a large number of base and wall units.  There is also a range cooker, Miele washing machine and tumble dryer, and a fridge freezer.  Other appliances available for use include a new microwave, kettle, slow cooker and coffee maker.  There is also a table and chairs for 4 people, and some stools for extra guests should they be required.  There are also French doors out into the rear garden.

The shared living area is substantial with the main part originally stretching from the front of the house to the back.  This has been extended however, creating an additional smaller room.

All rooms have been recently decorated, have double glazed windows, with two Velux windows in the kitchen as well.  New carpets have been recently laid in the property, and new blinds fitted on the windows.

The front of the property has a private driveway, with gates, and a garden alongside it.  There is also space on the roadside where people park - but this not always guaranteed to be available. The gardens are a work-in-progress, due to the great British weather, but we plan to have the garden restored before next Spring/Summer season. There is a shed in the rear garden, which is available for storage of gardening tools, and bikes if required.  Access to the rear of the property is via a secure, solid, wooden door.
