This is Stella, she has found herself looking for a new home through no fault of her own. While she is now in our name she was left with us temporarily initially when her owner lost accommodation and unfortunately not been taken with them.

She will be 2 in December so still a young dog ready for some new adventures. She is good on the lead & has good recall, I have had her off lead in a private field and in the forest when there’s no other dogs as she just wants to play with them all. This love to play energy can mean she gets frustrated with her lead but she’s happy being walked with a muzzle to prevent this and with time it will improve. She would benefit with another dog in the home or some new friends to walk with. She’s not had many which is why she’s so excited.

She is currently living with my 3 dogs and does mix well with 2 of them. My 3rd is reactive and isn’t tolerating another dog so we are desperate to find Stella a new sofa.

She does have the typical breed traits so loves toys and she prefers these to treats when training. While she enjoys playing tug, she is good with letting go of toys and will retrieve when thrown. She gets the zoomies at times but after a run about in the garden she’s ready for a long snooze again.

Stella won’t be suitable to live in a home without a private garden or with any small animals including cats but she is okay when seeing them on walks
