Our client in Winchester who are one of the world's most eminent designers and manufacturers of decorative lighting, furniture and accessories are looking for a Workshop Operative to join their team on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within a workshop environment (repairing/finishing/fixing).

The role of the Workshop Operative will be working on the shop floor and reporting to the Production Supervisor on a daily basis. Day to day tasks will consist of working in the Workshop department metal finishing, spray painting, bronzing, welding etc. Previous experience in this would be preffered as well as experience using hand tools.

Duties:

- Product finishing (brass polishing, chemical finishing (bronzing), spray painting, etc.).

- Assembly (assembling floor lamps, etc.).

- Machining (pillar drill, lathe, hand tools, etc.).

- Bonding (welding, soldering, etc.).

Experience Required:

- Worked within a Manufacturing Environment

- Previous experience working with metal, spray painting, welding or glass cutting is preffered

- Experience using hand tools

- Flexible to do all of the above roles within the Workshop

Offer:

- Monday to Friday

- 08:30am to 4:45pm (with a 45 minute unpaid break)

- £12.60ph on Agency - Uplift to £13.15ph once perm

- 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (Once Perm)

- Overtime is dependant on demand but would only be offered after successful probation

- Free Onsite Parking

- 3 Month Temp to Perm
