Motor Engineer / Vehicle Assessor / Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator

Manchester

4 Days per week based in the office and one day per week working from home

Salary: £37,000

Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent

Mon - Fri - 9.00am - 5.00pm

Role Requirements:

- Member of either IAEA / IMI / IRTE / ATA / VDA is essential- 2 years of Motor Claims knowledge including a basic understanding of insurance principles is essential- Good working knowledge of computerised damage estimating systems, including Audatex is essential- Accuracy and attention to detail- Positive and self-confident approach when dealing with our customers.- PC literate with good administrative skills- Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary.-Experience within a role of Motor Engineer / Vehicle Assessor / Vehicle Damage Assessor / EstimatorAs a Motor Engineer, your role encompasses overseeing all aspects of motor inspections using state-of-the-art technology to evaluate and audit estimates before authorising repairs efficiently.Occasionally, you will engage in negotiating settlements for motor vehicles, directly liaising with our customers.You will work within agreed timeframes and business parameters, tailored to meet the needs of the company.Constant communication with repairers, business partners, and suppliers is essential to ensure the smooth processing of claims and to achieve optimal engineering outcomes on the first attempt.Additionally, you will conduct audits to assess repairer performance, providing recommendations on repair quality, costs, and customer service.It's crucial to ensure that all work is carried out within agreed KPIs and SLAs and in accordance with our company values.
