Problem-solving is paramount at The Window Doctor. The varied jobs you will encounter within this role include, meeting customers in their homes, pricing parts and glass units, servicing doors and everything else in between.

Experience of being a service engineer in the industry is critical. If you have the skills to solve problems and think outside the box, then we want to speak with you.

To be considered for the role you will be:

* Being self-motivated and enthusiastic to develop your skillset and deliver unparalleled customer service is a must.

* Confident, with a professional can-do attitude

* You will be punctual, polite, and able to compile quotations professionally

* Undertake jobs to the highest standard and in the timelines agreed

* Able to manage your time in a commercially viable way

* Working with the customer care team to efficiently undertake a variety of quotation surveys and jobs each day to meet targets and key performance indicators

* You will be fluent in English with good reading and writing skills, be computer literate and able to confidently use our engineer electronic tablet system

* Have a full, clean driving licence

* Live within a commutable distance of our depot in Hinckley, Leicestershire

The role includes a van, you are required to take pride in ensuring the van is kept in pristine condition. We at The Window Doctor take huge pride in our appearance as a business and we ask for you to be as passionate about this as we are.

Requirements

* Experience with repairing UPVC Products

* Confident in discussing prices and compiling quotes with customer homes

* Competent glazier in a range of frame materials

* Strong experience within the maintenance sector

* Experience of power tools & their use

* Good IT skills/computer literate

* Proven track record in delivering results

* Good written & verbal communication skills

* A high degree of accuracy & attention to detail

* Strong organisational skills

* Self-motivated & committed with a proactive attitude to change

* The ability to confidently discuss and promote business services to customers
