Miles Recruitment have a great opportunity for an Upholsterer to join a well established company, dedicated to providing high–quality upholstery services.

As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for transforming furniture by applying padding, springs, fabric. Some of your daily responsibilities can include:

– Remove old upholstery and prepare surfaces for new materials.

– Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather according to design specifications.

– Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.

– Glue, pack and fit materials to finish products

To thrive in this position as Upholsterer, you will need to have proven experience in the same or a similar role. Additionally you will need:

– Proficiency in upholstery techniques, including measuring, cutting, sewing, and stapling.

– Knowledge of different types of fabrics, leathers, and materials used in upholstery.

– Strong communication and teamwork skills.

– Attention to detail and a keen eye for design and craftsmanship.

This is an ongoing position with the opportunity to go permanent.

Salary: 11.69 p/h
