This is a fast growing, acquisitional organisation has their core finance function based in Barnsley.

We are recruiting a Transactional Finance Team Leader, a newly created role to support company growth, to join their existing finance function.

You will oversee a small team dedicated to sales ledger and credit control, purchase ledger and payments, plus payroll responsibilities. The role involves managing and motivating the team to complete all the day to day tasks, ensuring adequate training and supporting development, setting and achieving targets and KPIs. You will continuously review processes, procedures and systems usage to drive improvement. Additionally, you will report on both financial and team performance.

We are looking for a candidate with experience across AP, AR and Payroll as well as experience in a supervisory capacity. Experience of Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll would be advantageous.

Starting salary is 35k, it is a full-time permanent role with 25 days annual leave plus stat, with a flexible and hybrid working approach.
