This is a chance for a Senior Town Planner to join a multidisciplinary consultancy in Taunton and lead on their planning offering. You will be a real team player and be keen to get involved in a small and growing local business. In terms of their client base, they have excellent relationships with land owners, farmers & developers. Having built a portfolio of residential projects, mixed use schemes, heritage work & bespoke buildings. With in house designers and technicians, this company is able to offer a full range of services to their clients to be able to offer advice, guidance and problem solving for developments in Somerset and beyond.

The role will suit a Town Planner who has a good working relationship with planning officers and has worked in the private sector. You must have an eye for detail and be able to deliver quality written work / reports. Being able to work together with all stakeholders and build ongoing working relationships which are sustainable are also really important for the success of the role.

Ideally you will be MRTPI qualified but it's not essential.
