Technology Apprentice - ICT Level 3

Our client is offering this exciting opportunity for an aspiring and motivated Technology Apprentice to start their career in the technology sector. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship and gain valuable skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, focusing on telecommunications and audio-visual services.

The role:

Possible start date: 02.12.2024

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Total working hours: 40

What you will do in your working day:

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications systems and AV equipment
Support the technical team in troubleshooting and resolving client issues
Participate in site surveys to assess and plan for AV and telecommunications installations
Learn to interpret technical diagrams and specifications
Aid in the setup and testing of AV systems, including projectors, sound systems and video conferencing equipment
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client specifications
Maintain accurate records of work performed and update project documentation
Provide excellent customer service and support to clients during installations and follow-up visits
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

The training you will receive:

Level 3 ICT qualification
All training is undertaken online, through a combination of self-paced eLearning and live online classes
Functional skills in English & maths if required

Future prospects:

Potential extension of contract on successful completion of apprenticeship
