Sous Chef - Premium Country Pub

A charming country pub near Epsom is searching for a dedicated Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. This venue is known for its fresh, seasonal menu and cozy yet vibrant atmosphere, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The right candidate will support the Head Chef in maintaining the high standards of food quality and service while contributing to menu creation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operationsPrepare and present seasonal, fresh dishes to a high standardEnsure kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards are metTrain and supervise junior kitchen staffHelp manage stock control and assist in minimizing wasteRequirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a premium dining settingStrong understanding of British cuisine with a focus on seasonal ingredientsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a teamKnowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene regulationsPassion for quality food and delivering an exceptional dining experienceSalary: Up to £34,000 per annum, plus benefits
