Sole Gardener/Horticulturalist for small private estate on the Sussex/Hants borders.

Property: 3-acre garden with formal beds, lawns, hedges, trees, small orchard, and kitchen garden.

Recommended role for a dedicated and experienced Sole Gardener/Horticulturalist to look after a 3 acre garden near Petersfield. The garden features formal beds, a kitchen garden, small orchard, lawns, hedges and trees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain formal beds, lawns, hedges, trees, orchard, and develop the kitchen garden

• Pool maintenance

• Occasional light property maintenance

• Carry out occasional airport runs

• Part-time help brought in at busy times to assist with mowing etc

Requirements:

• Proven experience in garden maintenance and horticulture

• Ability to work independently and manage the upkeep of a formal garden

• Full driving license for occasional errands

Details:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

• Accommodation: Separate two-bedroom house provided nearby (pets and dependents welcome).

Post is also open to daily candidates who live within a commutable distance.

• Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 gross per annum, negotiable based on experience
