Our client, a well-established labels company dedicated to sustainability and innovation who prioritise using recycled materials to create high-quality labelling solutions that minimises environmental impact. Are looking for a motivated Slitter / Rewinder Operator to join their dynamic team in Leeds.

Role Overview:

As a Slitter / Rewinder Operator, you will be a key player in the production team, responsible for operating and maintaining slitting and rewinding machinery. Your work will ensure that our sustainable materials meet the highest quality standards while contributing to our mission of reducing waste.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate slitter/rewinder machinery to cut and rewind rolls of label material.

Monitor production quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to maintain optimal performance.

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.

Adhere to safety and quality control procedures.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a slitter/rewinder operator or in a similar manufacturing role.

Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and sustainability.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Salary and Benefits:

Competitive hourly wage of £12 - £14, depending on experience.

Weekly rotating shifts:

Earlies: 6:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Lates: 1:30 PM - 9:00 PM, Monday - Thursday (8:00 PM finish on Fridays)

Nights: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Sunday - Thursday
