Shift Supervisor – Huddersfield HD2

Full-time | Permanent Opportunity | £33,280 per annum- £35,360 per annum dependent on experience (£16 - £17 per hour)

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? United Anodisers is a company with over 50 years of experience anodising aluminium architectural panels in Huddersfield!

We’re looking for a dedicated Shift Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role with a three shift rotating pattern where you will be working (6 AM – 2 PM, 2 PM – 10 PM, and 10 PM – 6 AM), with occasional weekend work. You’ll play a vital part in keeping our production running smoothly, managing a team, and ensuring quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

What We’re Looking For:

*

Previous supervisory experience (essential)

*

Ability to manage a team, ensuring that production targets are met

*

Strong organisational and communication skills

*

Experience in a manufacturing/production environment is a plus

Your Key Responsibilities:

*

Oversee shift start, break, and finish times, ensuring adherence by all team members

*

Ensure the production schedule is followed optimally to meet customer requirements

*

Maintain accuracy in part identification and counts

*

Ensure rejected items are reprocessed and handled by shift end

*

Perform quality control checks, ensuring high standards are met

*

Keep the working areas clean, safe, and well-organised

*

Liaise with the maintenance team and address any issues that arise

*

Communicate with the packing supervisor to ensure smooth load processing

*

Organise cover/overtime as needed to maintain production targets

*

Present daily shift performance to the Production Manager during handover meetings
