As Service Manager you will be joining a highly successful market leading global manufacturing business based in Banbury. The role is full time and permanent offering a salary of up to 50,000. The company are on a real path of growth, and this is an opportunity to be part of this.

Purpose of the role: To support and manage the engineers working across projects in the UK and Ireland delivering exceptional levels of customer service. With frequent client visits in the UK and Ireland the role is 3 – 4 days office based with 1 day out in the field.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities of the Service Manager:

Directing and delegating service tasksMonitoring current projects to ensure project deliveryManaging service team, training and coachingMonitoring customer complaints, create methods to improve service deliveryManaging the service desk, improving efficienciesOverseeing aftersales serviceWorking with sales and project managers to deliver to customersAuditing work carried out to ensure the highest standards service delivery, efficiency and productivity goals are metKey Skills Required for the Service Manager:

Experience as a service manager within manufacturing, FMCG, machinery, engineering or large heavy goods installationsExperience managing service engineersStrong leadership skillsAbility to support and nurture a positive cultureManaged and delivered high levels of customer serviceAn effective problem solver, aways putting service firstAbility to perform under pressure and remain consistentOrganised and detail orientatedWhat's in it for you?
