Service Engineer required. My client is a leading supplier and maintainer of diesel-powered equipment across Scotland and England. They are looking to bring on board a Service Engineer to look after their diesel equipment and ancillaries across Aberdeen and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be familiar with diesel engine maintenance, will have experience across fault finding, diagnosis, maintenance and repair and will be based locally to Aberdeen.

You will need a full UK Driving License for this position

Service Engineer Position Overview

To service equipment on customer sites and to respond to call-outs when neededTo work closely with the Hire Controller, Driver and Fitters to ensure all hires proceed smoothlyTo work on the repair and maintenance of diesel pumps and generatorsTo service, repair and overhaul equipment and associated components both within the depot, at customer premises and third-party sitesTo assist with the loading and unloading of pumps and generators onto the lorry for deliveries through the use of Hi-Ab Lorry Mounted Crane and Forklift TruckComplying with all relevant health and safety proceduresTravelling throughout the Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth and occasionally Inverness

Service Engineer Position Requirements

Diesel engine maintenance experience is essentialIdeally experience working on pumps and/or power equipmentNVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualified in mechanical related disciplinePrevious experience in a Service Engineer position is ideal, or be happy to travel for the roleFirst-hand experience with Fault Finding, Diagnosis, Maintenance and RepairCSCS Card desirableHappy to take part in 1 in 3 call out rotaHappy to occasionally staying away if travelling to InvernessFull Driving licenceBased locally to Aberdeen or Dundee

Service Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary 34,000 - 36,000Call out pay at 120 a week.
