Job title: Senior Team Leader

Job location: Derby

Rate: £19.45 Per hour

Hours per week: 48

Monday - Thursday | 06:00 - 18:00

Duration: Permanent

Start date: ASAP

Client Summary: A leading manufacturer of specialist fabrications for the Aerospace Industry.

Position Summary: Leading a team of up to 40 people through their day-to-day tasks in machining/ fabrication.

* Regularly briefing the team about new and current work and giving a structured and though out plan.

* Providing constructive feedback.

* Reporting on KPIs.

* Ensuring the team works safely, correctly and to a high standard on time.

* Managing holidays, absences and attendance.

* Presenting to Operations Director on the team's progress and needs.

Person Profile/Experience: An ideal candidate will have experience in a hands-on machining or fabrication background - but this is not essential.

* Past supervisory/ managerial/ leadership roles with a strong base level understanding of people management.

* ILM / CMI Level 3 or equivalent.

* IOSH Management course completion.

* A background in aerospace is essential.

* Manufacturing/ fabrication/ engineering/ machining experience all considered.
