Senior Systems Engineer

Based in Stevenage (Some Remote Working)

65.00 - 70.00 per hour (InsideIR35)

Must hold active SC Clearance

What the role involves:

You will directly support Digital Engineering transformation by working closely with our MBSE Lead to drive MBSE initiatives and deliver exceptional value to our key project stakeholders.

Developing and maintaining SysML profiles, libraries and model templates in Cameo System ModelerSupporting the development and delivery of internal MBSE trainingProviding guidance to projects on MBSE activities and initiativesMentoring and coaching engineers in the application of MBSE best practiceConducting reviews of various SysML modelsArticulating the benefits of MBSE to internal and external stakeholders. Ideally you will have experience in the following areas:

Applying MBSE across the entire system development lifecycle.Experience with one or more SysML modelling tools (Cameo Systems Modeler/MagicDraw, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, PTC Integrity Modeler, IBM Rational Rhapsody etc.Experience in using existing one or more MBSE frameworks/methods; Rhapsody Rationale, OOSEM, MagicGrid, SYSMOD etc.Functional and physical architecture definition using SysMLExperience in developing SysML/UML profilesExperience of engineering gate reviews and the associated assessment of design compliance/maturity.Proficient at requirements elicitation, negotiation and definition.Strong numerical and analytical ability.Ability to cope with a high degree of design complexity and significant levels of uncertainty.Experience of supporting design / delivery teams to develop complex, technical solutions in accordance with plans and processes.Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem solving and driving difficult issues to conclusion.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience of working with different levels of internal and external stakeholders.
