Senior Management Accountant

Location: St. AlbansReporting to: Finance Business PartnerSalary: 55k- 65kType: Full time, Hybrid (1 day WFH) Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in St. Albans.

Role Purpose

Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and develop reliable budgets and forecasts.Provide insightful business partnering to support informed decision-making and strategy.Oversee capital project controls and reporting to ensure efficient allocation and use of resources.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed monthly management accounts, ensuring financial accuracy and timeliness.Develop and update budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.Serve as a business partner to various departments, offering financial insights and guidance.Manage and report on capital projects, tracking budgets and progress effectively.Foster effective working relationships with finance team members and other departments.Support the implementation of a new finance system to streamline processes.Enhance cash management practices and improve financial reporting quality.
