Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a leading services business, based in Basingstoke, to recruit a Senior Management Accountant position on a 12-month FTC basis.

Salary GBP60-66,000 p/a + matched pension scheme up to 12% + GBP450 yearly flexible benefit pot to use against benefits of your choice

Hybrid working - 2 days a week in the office

Key Responsibilities include:

Establish the accuracy of the group s combined general ledgers, ensuring that effective procedures are in place and all errors are identified and corrected. Ensure that appropriate accounting controls are established.Proactively provide advice, support, guidance and opinion on accounting standards and reporting practices to senior stakeholders.Establish the provision of group information, analysis and reporting on actual results as required which helps drive the businessWork closely with management accounting teams to produce the monthly management accounts for all of the activities to ensure timely and accurate submission to the executive board.Recommend and implement improvements to financial reports to enable the executive leadership team and directors to improve and refine their understanding of the accounts and other financial reports. Key Experience & Skills:

Qualified Accountant, ACA, CIMA, ACCA Demonstrable track record of senior stakeholder management and collaboration.Demonstrable track record of working effectively in a changing and continuously improving environment.Strong, clear working knowledge of processes and controls surrounding financial accounting and management account preparation, including detailed report writing and analysis.Strong, clear working knowledge of management information report writing and design, including detailed variance analysis.
