The Senior Fire Engineer Role

The successful Senior Fire Engineer will work directly alongside the Head of Fire Engineering. This role requires self-management of projects of various sizes and sectors, managing a team, and mentoring graduates and fire engineers. The business maintains key relationships with companies in the commercial, hi-rise, and residential sectors, ensuring compliance with all fire regulations and requirements, as well as staying abreast of future changes.

Responsibilities:

Fire Strategy DesignReview, Inspect, Implement & TestUnderstand detection, suppression, on-site experience, strategy design, and testingKey Requirements:

Ideally with a design consultancy or risk backgroundChartered engineer in fire or working towards this statusDegree in Fire Engineering, structural engineering, or a related disciplineExperience in leading client-facing meetingsClear experience in the residential and commercial sectorsExperience with business development
