An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Assistant (Receivables) to join a professional services team in Edinburgh. The role requires expertise in SUN systems and robust knowledge in accounting and finance.

Hybrid working, 2 days in the office 3 from home.

Full time hours, Monday to Friday 9-5 (flexible)

Description

Managing receivables and ensuring timely collection of payments.

Recording financial transactions in the SUN system.

Preparing financial reports and statements.

Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities.

Maintaining and updating financial databases.

Performing account reconciliations.

Providing support during internal and external audits.

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.Profile

A successful Senior Finance Assistant (Receivables) should have:

A formal education in Accounting or Finance.

Proficiency in using SUN systems.

Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Job Offer

An estimated salary range of £28,800 - £32, 200 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
