What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Employee Relations Specialist for our Commercial business unit, you will be instrumental in supporting our ER strategy and fostering a respectful and collaborative working environment across all HR teams. You will work closely with the Head of HR, Senior HR Business Partner and other Business Unit HR Teams, focusing on partnership, delivery, and shared learning.
You will develop trusted relationships and provide first-class guidance on all ER matters, delivering effective ER solutions that are understood and deliver the best possible outcome for business challenges.
And by utilising company analytics, you will seek to drive performance and provide key information to senior stakeholders.

What we're looking for:
Minimum level 7 CIPD or equivalent qualification. Chartered member of CIPD or working towards this with evidence of continuous professional development.Previous experience in an HR Generalist or ER role within an unionised and regulated environment and experience of leading a team.Proven ER experience including advising on complex disciplinary and grievance issues with the ability to apply the relevant legal principles and risk assessment.Experience of supporting large scale organisational change and restructuring programmes including TUPE, redundancy and contractual variations.Experience of partnering with trade unions and a good understanding of the trade union framework and collective bargaining.Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to interact across all levels of management.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and ability to deliver results to demanding deadlines.
Candidates should possess extensive experience as a Senior ER Specialist or similar role with a strong ER emphasis gained within a multi-site organisation. Demonstrable experience of dealing with an array of complex ER issues within an unionised environment is also required.
