Senior Compliance Manager

Location: FULLY REMOTE (they have an office in London for you to work from if that's your preference)

Role Overview:

We seek a proactive, self-motivated Compliance Officer to join our innovative UK-based fintech team. This role is ideal for someone eager to dive into all aspects of compliance, driving the regulatory framework in a dynamic, growing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial promotion approvals, complaint handling, transaction reviews, and onboarding inquiries.Manage compliance reporting (Regdata, Connect) and implement the Compliance Monitoring Programme.Update policies, conduct regulatory training, and ensure FCA, AML, and CTF compliance.Stay current on regulatory changes, adapting policies as needed, and contribute to the development of compliance strategies.Collaborate across departments, including AML Finance, Risk, Product, and Sales, to maintain high compliance standards.Support and promote a compliance-first culture, keeping consumer interests and risk mitigation as a priority.Assist in preparing compliance reports for management and the Board.Requirements:

3+ years in compliance and financial crime, ideally in a buy-side investment firm.Strong knowledge of UK regulatory standards, including the FCA Handbook, HMRC ISA rules, JMLSG, and GDPR.Proactive problem-solver with experience building compliance programs.Interest in regulatory changes, with a curiosity about tech and market trends.Working towards or holding relevant industry qualifications in compliance/risk management is a plus.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a high-growth fintech team!
